Well, here it is! The Tea for Two Workshop, currently scheduled for May 4th. I have the designing all done. As long as I can get caught up with the card designs/cutting for our regular April and May clubs, I should be able to do this one as planned. I also have the cookbook cutting that needs to be done by June (along with June cards). I'm working hard, so I hope I can do it all!
I had Brian take these pictures (I don't do a very good job at it, nor do I want to take the time to learn right now). Some of the items have multiple images so you can better see the insides and side/top views.
Begin to think of which items you will want to make. I would plan about one hour per item. Some will not take near that long, but some may take a little longer. I would think that most of you will be able to make about 4 (depending on which ones you choose). You will be selecting them at the April club meeting. I hope to price them in the $3.00-$4.00 price range. The difference between these and our club cards, is there are more layers/pop dots/more expensive embellishments, which creates a higher price. I hope you will be happy with them.
I'm thinking we should start around 11:00-11:30, then break for lunch about 12:30. We will get started again around 1:00 and hopefully finish up by 4:00-4:30.
Spring Crop!!!
Remember, it is scheduled for Sat. April 6th (arrive between 11:00-11:30). We will go until 5:00/5:30. Bring your own paper, scissors, adhesive, and glue & pop dots. These are your own projects. Come finish what you are working on, or come and I'll help you start on a new one. Let me know (call or email) me with the items of mine that you want to use, so I can have them downstairs and ready for you. Go through your catalogs to help decide. I of course don't have everything, but I have enough for you to work with. Let me know if you need to buy paper from me, so I can make sure I have enough of what you want. I need to hear from all of you that are coming, (please re-confirm) no later than April 2nd, so I can plan space and your lunches.
